GSE71100: LIN28B/let-7 Axis Regulates Multiple Myeloma Proliferation by Enhancing MYC and RAS Survival Pathways
- Organsim human
- Type RNASEQ
- Target gene
- Project ARCHS4
We report that LIN28B is overexpressed and associated with an adverse outcome in MM patients. LIN28B regulates let-7 family members in MM, thereby modifying the expression of let-7 targets MYC and RAS proteins, two major regulators of MM cells proliferation. The LIN28B/let-7 axis regulates the proliferation of MM cells in vivo in a xenograft tumor model. RNA sequencing and gene set enrichment analyses revealed the central role of both MYC and cell cycle pathways in LIN28B-engineered MM cells. We further show that LIN28B activity in regulating MYC and cell proliferation is dependent on let-7. SOURCE: Salomon Manier (salomon_manier@dfci.harvard.edu) - Ghobrial lab - HIM 237 DFCI
