GSE127788: Gene expression changes in HT-22 cells with or without PGC-1 overexpression upon OGD stimulation
- Organsim mouse
- Type RNASEQ
- Target gene
- Project ARCHS4
PGC-1 overexpression in neurons protects against chronic cerebral hypoperfusion-induced cognitive impairment in mice. To investigate the neuroprotective mechanism of PGC-1, we employed RNA-Seq analysis on PGC-1-overexpressed HT-22 cells, a hippocampal neuron cell line. We performed OGD experiment to mimick chronic cerebral hypoperfusion. Indeed, PGC-1 overexpression alters the gene expression profiles of HT-22 cells, suggesting that neuronal PGC-1 might play an important role after chronic cerebral hypoperfusion.
