The goal of this study was to compare transcriptome of HeLa cells with or without TFIIB knockdown for gene expression changes in steady state or after TNF-a treatment. Although a broad effect on gene expression would be anticipated, TFIIB depletion led only to an altered expression of a limited number of genes.
