GSE100610: Genome-wide expression of mRNAs and microRNAs in response to ERI2 knockdown
- Organsim human
- Type RNASEQ
- Target gene
- Project ARCHS4
Here we describe the biological properties of new member of the Enhancer of RNAi (ERI) subfamily of DEDDh nucleases in humans, called ERI-2 that is important for miRNA processing and decay for a large subset of eukaryotic miRNA transcripts. hERI-2 is a potent Mg2+ dependent 3-5 exoribonuclease that also regulates the cell cycle and is a negative regulator of RISC.
