GSE84375: Salmonella Typhimurium evades macrophage defense by derailing metabolic pathways
Bulk RNA sequencing
In this study, we have employed RNA seq analysis to comprehensively understand the genes regulated in macrophages upon S.Typhimurium infection. Our data reveal that S. Typhimurium abrogates key metabolic pathways and their modulators. Disruption in metabolism leads to reduced acidification of phagosomes resulting in impaired bacterial clearance and antigen presentation.
